AAU IJMBE Admission 2016/2017
Applications are invited from suitably qualified
candidates for admission into the Interim Joint
Matriculation Board Examination (IJMBE)
programme of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma for
2016/2017 session.
IJMBE is a national examinations body approved
by the Federal Government of Nigeria and certified
by Nigeria University Commission (NUC) as
Advanced Level (A/L) examination for seeking
admission into higher institution.

The IJMBE result qualifies candidates for 200
level admission into Ambrose Alli University or any
other Nigerian University via Direct Entry (DE).
IJMBE certificate is also accepted by some
foreign Universities for admission.
Admitted candidates into IJMBE programme are
expected to select THREE (3) subject
combinations related to their proposed course of
study in the University.
For approved IJMBE subject combinations for
undergraduate courses in Ambrose Alli University,
Ekpoma
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must possess at least five (5) credit
passes in not more than two (2) sittings in SSCE/
WASC/GCE O'Level/NECO/NABTEB which must
include English Language and Mathematics. At
least, three (3) of the credits must be in relevant
subjects.
DURATION OF PROGRAMME
Twelve (12) calendar months divided into two (2)
semesters.
PURCHASE OF FORM
The application form will cost #17,250.00
(Seventeen thousand, two hundred and fifty naira)

the purchase of the forms.
DURATION OF APPLICATION
Application forms for the IJMBE Programme will
be available online for completion and submission
from Monday, 5th December, 2016 to Thursday,
5th January, 2017.
EXAMINATION
Candidates may be required to sit for a written
examination on a date to be announced later.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Candidates who had already applied for admission
into the Foundation Programme (Pre-degree) for
2016/2017 session and are interested to convert
to the IJMBE Programme can do so. It should be
emphasized that for other candidates who still
want to continue with the Pre-Degree Programme
will be allowed to do so.
