Anthony Joshua expresses confidence he’ll defeat Joseph Parker
World heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua is preparing ahead of his fight against World Boxing Organization (WBO) champion Joseph Parker.
The British boxer born to a Nigerian mother, will on Saturday, March 31, put his World Boxing Association (WBA) and International Boxing Federation (IBF) titles on the line when he squares up against the New Zealand’s undefeated world heavyweight champion Parker.
As Joshua prepares for his title defence, he maintained that he is confident that all he has learnt in training will give him an edge.
Meanwhile, British boxing great Frank Bruno warned Joshua to be careful as he stressed that the fight will not be an easy one.
“If Anthony Joshua moves around and uses his reach and his power, he should make it, not an easy fight, but make it easier for himself.
“If he is going to get macho and start wanting to tear up with him, then Parker is a very dangerous guy, very fit, and he is on you all the time.
“Joshua has a lot of skill, a lot of size, a lot of power. If he just relaxes and uses Parker to come in, it is as simple as that.” Bruno added.
