    President Buhari Approves Five New Federal Appointments... See Full List

    President Muhammadu Buhari has approved five new federal government appointments after they were confirmed by the Nigerian Senate.

    According to a statement by Olusegun A. Adekunle, Permanent Secretary, in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the new appointments following the nominees' confirmation by the Senate.
     
    The new appointments include;
     
    1. Anthony Okechukwu Ojukwu as Executive Secretary, National Human Rights Commission for initial term of five years.
     
    2. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa is the Non-Executive Director, Niger Delta Development Commission, for initial term of four years.
     
    3. Chika Ama, Nwauwa is also Non-Executive Director, Niger Delta Development Commission. for initial term of four years.
     
    4. Nwogu N. Nwogu appointed as Non-Executive Director, Niger Delta Development Commission for initial term of four years.
     
    5. Professor James Momoh as the Chairman, Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission for initial term of five years.
     
    The appointments, the statement said, take immediate effect.
