A woman has been found lying in the pool of her own blood after her home was invaded by armed robbers who later attacked and killed her.

The residents of Eziama community in Abia state were on Tuesday night, left in total shock and fear after the gruesome killing of a woman by unknown gunmen in the area.
Multiple online reports revealed that the deceased from Eziama Lokpaukwu area in Abia State, returned home after the day's work not knowing that tragedy would befall her.
It was gathered that armed robbers stormed her house late in the night after kicking down the door, ransacked everything and shot her dead in the process of the operation.
She was left in the pool of her blood before she finally gave up the ghost, as her corpse has been evacuated from the house and deposited at the mortuary.
